I still haven’t forgotten that curious little boy and his desire to interact more with his environment. I wish I would have had to privledge to meet him, watch sunsets with him, help him operate his switch toys, talk to him. I only knew him through the stories on your website, but he made a difference in my life. When I’d get discouraged with some of my own struggles, I’d remember how I wanted to continue trying so I could someday help children like him communicate. Someday, when I’m a researcher in special education, I’d like to develop low tech communiuation aids that will allow childen like Loren more control over their enviroment.
